When an SEO audit is useful
An audit supports a decision that needs evidence first. We agree on the problem, period and URLs to examine, then record a verifiable starting point. If the cause is already established, the work may move directly to technical SEO implementation.
What we check
| Problem | Checks in scope | Decision to prepare |
|---|---|---|
| Pages are not indexed | Access, rendered content, canonical and index status | Identify the obstacle and an applicable fix |
| Organic traffic has fallen | Affected pages and queries, period and site changes | Separate observed facts from possible causes |
| The site has moved | URL mapping, redirects and internal links | Identify gaps and how to address them |
We compare observations with the indexed page data. Google explains the difference between a live test and inspection of the indexed version in its URL Inspection documentation.
What you receive
Each finding records its evidence, confidence level and agreed action. We implement corrections when the agreed access allows, or send implementation tickets to your team. The review explains the decisions and any remaining uncertainty.
Verification records what was deployed and what Google has picked up. If a page has not yet been recrawled, that status remains explicit in the deliverable.
Scope of the engagement
Diagnosis starts with read-only Search Console access, then audience data where relevant. Access to code, the CMS or DNS for implementation is agreed separately. We do not guarantee recovered traffic or rankings.
Describe the problem you want investigated. If an external assistant is misdescribing your brand, the relevant service is a GEO audit.
